1. How ironic you mention that. |
|
We were talking about the problems with machines, when I was working at the Dem headquarters, today. I said that we were reaching a banana republic status where we'd need to call in Jimmy Carter to make sure we behaved during our elections.
Pretty sad, isn't it? Look at how much we've regressed in such a short time.

2. Oh, Jimmy, please come to Baltimore, Maryland |
|
We have had 19 of our election judges asked not to come to the polls on Tuesday, and how did the caller know their names; their names were on a confidential list.
I bought your book: Our Endangered Values, I wish you could be here, when I tried to vote for Kerry in 2004 in Baltimore City, the machine defaulted to Bush 5 times and when I went to vote this year in the primary, they said I voted after I showed them my ID Card, so I voted before I arrived at the voting booth. But NOT to worry, they were going to attach a piece of paper to my vote to explain that it should be counted and not thrown away as an overvote. Jimmy, I always respected you as President, still think you are a man of integrity, I just wish you could be in Baltimore, next Tuesday as an election observer. Oh, and I forgot to add that the results of the 2004 general election have never been posted on the Baltimore City BOE website and when I bought a copy of the precinct report, they would not show the results from the pollbooks.

3. That's what I've been saying for years. |

And the U.N. too. This third world country needs to be monitored.
