Gas prices headed back up --> $.06 overnight here... |
|
Going to work this morning I was flabbergasted to see the gas prices hiked from $2.19 to $2.25 here in Florida. (Naples-Fort Myers area)
I heard the gas price hike on CNN radio6-7 days ago but nothing from msm or newspapers anywhere.
the Congressional races (the Dems are way ahead---> YES!) so do they give a shit if gas prices go up now? Not really an issue at this point, IMHO.
Anyone in here notice gas price hikes in your area? if so could you post please.

1. This is merely the start of a bigger mess on that front |

Methinks the oil companies have finally realized that any temporary ploy of reducing prices-- in the hopes of boosting the Rethugs' prospects for 2006-- is futile. The depth of American anger against the GOP is too high. So they're back to profiteering and extracting as much money from American drivers as they can, prior to the Democrats taking control of Congress and opposing their money-grubbing efforts.
