Where's Condi?
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 09:49 AM by underpants
I saw on thinkprogress that the Drudge report is prominently featuring a Where's Nancy? item on the front page. Seems that Drudge isn't aware that Pelosi is hiding in plain sight.
http://thinkprogress.org/2006/11/02/drudge-pelosi/

So this got me thinking-Where is Condi?

The last news item on her from google was on October 21 which, oddly, is the last time that Drudge thinks that Pelosi was seen before she "vanished".

Even when North Korea tried to influence the US elections announcing that they would return to the Six Party talks we still didn't hear anything from Condi, the Secretary of State supposedly.

Where is she?

Don't they have some talking points to run in front of the public and do focus groups on? (her only real roll in the administration to date)

She still has some sort of favorable rating and that is beyond a rarity in the Republican party these days.

Were they forced to use Dick (16%) in place of Condi???

Where is Condi?

2. Are they stockpiling the women?
or something like that ( ;-) )

Good point where is Karen? Is she still trying to convince the Muslim world that we mean them no harm?

3. Why do we (DEMOCRATS!) promote KKKarl Rove's "Whisper Campaign" site ...
Whenever Rove wants to test a trial "smear campaign" balloon, he FAXes the information to Drudge to post on his smarmy site.

Remember fellow DUers, every time you click on Drudge's RNC enabling site, a Rovarian Hell's Angel gets its wings. ;) :puke:

9. They seem to cycle in and out.
They will be front and center for a while, each of them from Cheney to Hughes to Condi to Rummy and others then they seem to disappear while one of the others gets the hot seat for a while. It is a pattern I have wondered about for a while now. Is it so stressful that they get a month off after their time in the hot seat? Is it just politically expedient for us not to hate on each one of them for very long and they hope we forget when they drop out of the picture and forget by the time they recycle back to the front? They have been doing this for a long time, perhaps from early in the first term but I don't really know.

14. Yes moving the target of criticism
couple this with never ever actually going under oath (aside from Rummy with Warner running the meeting) you have nothing tangible to stick too or be indicted for.

13. ..
Maybe Condi is leaving the spotlight to make way for Santorum to become the new secretary of state when he looses next week.
