Some info from DSCC on their view of Senate races... |
|
Just got back from a breakfast meeting where the featured speaker was one of those in the DSCC responsible for directing their advertising...he made the following predictions...
Of the competitive races he views the following as in the bag:
Maryland New Jersey Minnesota Rhode Island Pennsylvania Ohio Montana
80% in the bag:
Virginia...he doesn't see how Allen gets to 50% in the current climate with his numbers where they are.
In the Senate it all comes down to Tennessee and Missouri, which he says is 50-50 right now.
No others realistically possible, with a slight nod of possibility to Arizona...
He also believes there will be a wave, with the Democrats picking up 20-25 seats in the House...
Says as far as the Senate goes, 2008 will likely be a big year for Democrats given the number of Republican seats that need to be defended...

1. If we pick up the senate |

We need to do right by the people. It is not time to become the republican party with their scandals. This is the only way we will win big in '08.

That's interesting. The polls show only a 3-point spread for Tester, and the GOP is sending the big guns---Cheney and Bush.

It is great to see that Bush/Cheney are going to turn up to help Tester win.:sarcasm:
I think it will be interesting to see how well the candidates, Bush rallied for, did after the election.
