Last weekend I did Lois Murphy. This weekend I'm doing Joe Sestak but election day I'll be in Philadelphia hopefully to monitor the polls somewhere

Hubby and I were almost rolling on the floor last night...we got a robo call from Friends of Blago. It wasn't so much that we got the call, but a couple of nights ago we got a robocall from Judy Biggert (R). This is the first year in the ten years we've lived here that we've gotten any calls like that. LOL!

6. Mark Hanson, CA State Senate - fire victim vs. insurance whore
Hear his ad at www.hanson4senate.com and please make a donation to help fire victims send a champion to Sacramento! his opponent is the heir apparent to capture Duncan Hunter's seat in '08 in Congress - unless we stop his political career now with this hard-hitting ad.

Polls show when voters learn the truth about his votes against fire victims, they will support our candidate even if they're Republicans.

11. Nothing left to do.
In '04 I resolved that I knocked on my last door and made my last telephone call. I don't think phone banking does much beyond pissing off the voter for the intrusion. Canvassing helps for local candidates. My wife and I gave a bucket of cash (not pennies, either) and attended numerous campaign events all year. We posted signs, wrote letters and distributed literature. Now the die is cast and all I can do is wait.

19. True, but in a state like Ohio I'd try to be an election worker or something
All the numbers point to major Dem pickups in Ohio but I'm still not thinking it'll happen, not even Ted Strickland winning even with him being ahead by 20pts. Kenneht Black"Ne'er-Do"Well is an aweful man!

23. I'm not so sure that phone calls don't help. I myself have
received one call this election season and I plan to vote for the one who called me. (This is just for a local judgeship but still you see my point). Of course this decision was after doing my research but the name was already in my mind.

He is better and smarter than Obama. I think he should run for president but I will take his decision and be happy. We need him in MA. The lt governor is such an awful person.

I will be doing visibilities for Patrick/Murray, Martha Coakley for AG, and, of course, for Congressman John Tierney.

We are having a Democratic Party victory rally at the Leather City Common in Peabody on Sunday afternoon(3:30). Tim Murray, Coakley, Tierney, Senator Berry, etc. are all confirmed. If you are on the North Shore, come on over and spend some time with us.

On election day I will be again doing poll visibility and GOTV calls from the Peabody headquarters for all of the (D) candidates.

CA-19. I confess I'm not an enthusiastic supporter but Radanovich has held this seat for something like 12 years and has done, literally, nothing but take kickbacks. His campaign did internal polling and they won't release the results, which I find interesting to say the least. They're now kicking in $100,000 for his campaign in an area where they weren't planning on spending anything. Anyway, I've already donated and will be hitting the pavement this weekend all the way up through election day.

22. Joe Donnelly, IN 2CD
Been canvassing for him nearly every weekend in several different parts of his district, phone-banked a few times, and will be doing GOTV every single day through the election.

Also gave dough to maybe a half-dozen races nationally, and phone-banked for MoveOn.org in its "Call for Change" campaign...which I'll also spend a few hours doing again this weekend.

I hate to lose, so I do everything I can to win. Losing is only shameful when you haven't!
