When will we ever learn?

Not to put our trust in these high-profile religious leaders? Because we will be disappointed everytime. Remember Jim Jones and the Kool-aid drinkers? Remember Jimmy Swaggart? Remember Jim Bakker? And now, remember Ted Haggard. These folks are the biggest threat to religious freedom in this country - it is not the liberals.

Believe as you want. Go to the church of your choice. But, don't get caught up in the big political events of show-biz religion. You will be disappointed everytime. How many will learn from this latest revelation?

They use these poor folks for political show and advantage. They hold their Bibles high in the air to preach about the evils of others in our society. They join one political Party to put emotional issues on the ballot, in hopes of increasing their political numbers. Look where we are now. Surely there is a special corner in hell for hypocrites.
