Bush challenges Democrats to offer plan for Iraq

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri (Reuters) - President George W. Bush challenged Democrats on Friday to offer their plan for winning in Iraq

snip............ "What's your plan?" for winning in Iraq and a host of other national security issues separating the parties.

"What's your plan?" the audience yelled back.

"Truth is the Democrats can't answer that question," he said. "Harsh criticism is not a plan for victory."

............ Howard Dean said it won't work. " President Bush's failed, 'stay the course' rhetoric is not only bad for America but has been a drag on Republicans on the ballot who have rubber-stamped the White House's failed agenda," Dean said in a party release.

Bush said Democrats are taking a "calculated gamble" by attacking him on Iraq without offering their own plan for what they would do if they win control of either the House of Representatives or the Senate or both.

"They believe the only way they can win this election is to criticize us and offer no specific plan of their own," Bush said.

He said Democrats still have four more days to do so and urged Republicans to ask them to.

6. Offering a plan means you have to learn how to read, Chimpy...
There are many plans...but the problem is, they are words on paper. We know that is a major problem for you...you ass.

7. (um).... NOT YOURS!
How about that? Hell that would work for everything. Do we have a plan? Well wait just a minute and let the Republicans put out their plan....okay this (holds Republican plan up and then throws it in the trash) that is out.

Nothing they have done has worked so what's say we go back to dealing with actual real issues like ones that exist and fix them. Yes don't worry we will farm some of it out to private companies don't worry we aren't going to expand government like you have but we will continure oversight of the taxpayers dollars.

Hows that sound for a plan you stupid idiot?

12. Isn't it strange how the Republicans get away with breaking something
and then sit there and scream "Well how are YOU going to fix my mess?????"

Bush never had a plan for "victory" or "winning in Iraq" ... Hell, he doesn't even think that there's a time in his "presidency" where we can start pulling the troops out "in victory" ... (and don't forget, Republicans might still pull out that old battle cry of 2004 - "You can't change horses in midstream" - meaning "you can't change Presidents in the middle of a war" ... a NEVER-ENDING war, no less ... so he "cannot in good conscience" leave the office of President of the United States)
