rather than straight party (even though all the votes are for Dems). I might be off base, but it seems like my votes are less likely to be "flipped" by an an illicit program or hack.

Also, I like having the experience of voting for all of the democratic candidates separately. It makes me feel like I'm voting in every race, even though voting the straight party line would have the same effect...

This year, I've got some strategic thinking to do further down the ticket (ie- the pick up to 3 of 8 candidates)... do I go for all 3, or play the game that by voting for only 1, it's a pickup for that one, and only that candidate instead of equalizing the numeric chances.

Also, in one of the judicial races, I'm seriously torn between candidates- all 4 would be excellent- it's a choose 3 again. I know 3 of the 4 are progressive and the 4th appears to also be a progressive too... Eh. I guess I'll think about this before election day. I'm not voting early for once, as the lines for early voting around here are long, and on actual day, there are hours where no one shows up.
