Reichert, Burner make House races' Top 50 money list

OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Republican Rep. Dave Reichert and Democratic challenger Darcy Burner, locked in one of the country's tightest U.S. House races, are both among this year's top 50 fundraisers.

Reichert's and Burner's contest for the 8th District, centered around Seattle's eastern suburbs, has generated more than $5 million in combined campaign donations, according to the Federal Election Commission.

Their race is one of just eight contests around the country that featured both major-party candidates listed among the House's top 50 fundraisers.
