Desperate, Republics play at the margins. Dems play in the mainstream. |
|
Think about it. They're really desperate. Il Dunce is out there in the reddest of red areas, essentially begging and frightening the Republic Party 'faithful' to ***please*** get out and vote. The subtext is that they're not just worried about the widely known 'battleground' races, but also the not-so-well-known *real* battleground races. They're girding for a blowout and can do little more than try to stem the losses. And even as they do this, the polls continue to favor strongly the Dems .... even in races where they were **never** thought to be competitive.
Meanwhile, the dems are steamrolling, with most of the issues square on their side. Oh sure, some races are tightening, but we're still pretty well positioned. Think about what's firing up not only the Democratic base, but those who are not associated with the party. Things like:
Stem cell research.
Iraq.
Minimum wage.
Oversight.
Investigations.
Forget the 'playbook'. The Republic Party is on to Plan C.
This is not so say they won't try to pull every trick, every bit of chicanery, every dirty trick they can. But face it. They're very desperate. And their winning ways have fallen by the wayside.

1. And the stupid blivet just keeps insulting America's democrats. |
|
Saying "a vote for the democrats is a vote for the terrorists." As if anyone is really going to believe that shit, the self-proclaimed "uniter" is too stupid to realize how many AMERICAN DEMOCRATS there are in this country and they are listening. And they will vote!
