Maybe Dean, who also isn't running for anything, can get out there and say something that he doesn't really mean in order to bait the Repubs into an overly aggressive attack, to which all of the national candidates have to then respond to instead of staying with their carefully crafted message built over the past 12 months.
No worries though, I'm sure the Repubs will find someone or some-thing to attack regardless of whether our people say what they mean or not.
