Yeah - I'm sorry, I just about had an asthma attack I was laughing so hard reading your post. McGavick doesn't have the proverbial snowball's chance in Hell of winning. :D

9. They have this guy Joe Watkins on MSNBC about every twenty minutes.
He's on so much that he might as well have his own show. Call it Rev. Joe's Goodtime Snake Oil Hour.

11. Puh-leeze! Only if they steal it
Washington is not going to elect a republican to replace her, even with her misguided support for some of Bush's policies. For a republican to win he would have to erode the dem base in King County and Seattle, which is not going to happen this year. In fact, the opposite has been noted recently by the Seattle PI - Bellevue and east King County are leaning dem now, which is great news for us and the idea of Seattleites shifting to the right is downright laughable. They would have to have major pickups in Eastern Washington and the Peninsula to win, but those areas are pretty much solidly republican now so they don't really have any gains to make there.

12. Cantwell is coasting to an overwhelming victory.....
Mr. Black apparently must be thinking of her 2000 race against Senator Slade Gorton, the "skeletor". Her current opponent, Mike! McGavick was Slade's right-hand man before Mr. Gorton got booted out by the omnipotent Ms. Cantwell.

Mike! is now running on his own, and is losing yet again, to the omnipotent Ms. Cantwell.

Mike! may know how to lay off thousands of employees and take millions in bonuses for doing so, in his previous role as Safeco Insurance CEO, but he sure the hell doesn't know squat about running political campaigns in 2006.

17. Add Lynn Swan to the list...
CNN is doing a PR piece for Lynn Swann this morning. Say's he is behind Rendell 60 percent to 25 percent but adds he may just pull it off.

Full of PR BS trying to higlight positives, which makes it a very tough sell for them. But, they are doing their best, bless their little RW hearts.

They can and will pull it off, maybe not this race but enough races to still control our country.

But, I was hoping the Dems would put safeguards in place to fight this, but then I had the same hope last election cycle.
