Howard Dean did terrific in his interview tonight on the

Lehrer News Hour..PBS..Margaret Warner tried to get him off track staying with Questions about the Kerry Flap and Haggard but he kept returning to the issues..Did Terrific for us.

He tells them the truth in ways they can't avoid. And he can talk really fast to get lots of information out there.

3. He also did Cupie Couric's "Free Speech" segment tonight

And it was great. All positive stuff, not an attack on the republicans. Unlike the spokeswoman from the GOP (Deputy Director?) who just spouted the same old shit about scary Nancy Pelosi, and even John Kerry's calling out troops uneducated. It was a between a cranky, angry old lady instilling fear and more divisiveness or a well spoken, positive look toward a future of change and accountability.

Howard was excellent.
