Mike Jones (Haggard accuser) on Scarborough MSNBC
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 09:08 PM by spooky3
I found him very believable. Did anyone else see him?

He also showed an envelope from "Art" sent through US mail to him, allegedly containing cash at one point. I wonder if a handwriting expert can verify that it's Haggard's writing.

He said no group had contacted him; no one knew what he was considering revealing before he did it.

I have to say Rita Cosby's questions were good!

1. I saw it, too
It's weird. I have absolutely no reason to believe the guy ... but I do. Don't ask me why.

You're right ... Rita was good.

2. He said he was doing it because it owed it to gays- it was
a way to fight back the hypocrisy.

He seems very credible to me.

3. I only saw him on Carlson's program this afternoon
I was filling in my ballot at the time. The tv is off to the side of the room. As he began to answer Tucker's questions, I found Jones so compellingly honest that I put my pen down and turned to watch the rest of the interview.

I found it most interesting that Tucker never used his smart-alec routine. He did ask some leading questions but Jones was never rattled. He just answered in such an even tempered manner that I appreciated the entire interview. It seemed like Tucker treated Jones and the entire matter with the seriousness the situation deserves.

Now Malloy, on the other hand, is taking a different approach. He's not interviewing Jones but he just played all sorts of audio clips from Jones and Haggard from today with the "Theme From A Summer Place" playing in the background and ended the segment with "YMCA".
