OnTuesday, I`m going to vote for everyone Bush rebuffed.

Before I close the curtain behind me on Tuesday, I`m going to think about all the people hurt by Bush`s disastrous policies:

Dead and wounded soldiers and civilians.
Hurricane Katrina victims still living in campers
Anyone in an unemployment line
Hooded, shackled men on torture planes
Folks who lost their homes through foreclosure
"Retrainees" from the steel industry, the textile industry, the auto industry
Military families on Food Stamps
Families struggling with outrageous college loan debts
Minimum wage workers
Underfunded first responders
Michael Schiavo
Soldiers who fled to Canada
Homeless children
Veterans with PTSD

I`m also going to think about The Constitution, The Military Commissions Act of 2006, the Patriot Act, warrantless wiretapping, oil executives deciding energy policy, journalists paid to write administration-friendly stories. I`ll think about Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, "macacca" and "Bring it on."

I can`t wait to be heard. In this part of Vermont we use a pencil, count all the ballots, and send the ensuing message.
