So we went to do our advanced voting yesterday

TO ENSURE we could vote with paper.

So here are some observations

1.- They have been busier than usual... even they were surprised

2.- They were PRESSURING people to use the electronic, by gently pointing they had more machines set up vis a vis the paper, four stations vs I think 12 machines. Also it is faster and easier (to steal the vote)

I am not counting on my vote being counted either way, and I was not the only one with that attitude at the registrar, but for god sakes at least make them work to steal it, why me and a yong man were there... and yes the discussions on them fangled machines not being more than glorified ATMSs that somehow cannot provide a receipt were occurring all around me

According to my Brother in Law there was an Article in the UT yesterday where they literally ran out of absentee ballots and have had to send about 10% of them as photocopies... ah in Diebold we DON'T trust it seems.

Oh and yes in the end I did hold my nose and voted for Feinstein, not because she is the best, far from it, but I went down straight Dem ticket.

Later on I went to the movies with hubby to watch Norat... before the movie started an older man said, well who cares its not like they count it

I said, well I voted this morning, and if you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain...kid two seats down, me and my frat bothers are voting, we don't the draft's comming... and we will end up in IRAN... they are figuring it out I thought, bravo

So here are simpers from where I seat... so perhaps the tsunami is for real and will be well out of the margin of error of Siebold.

2. I held my nose and voted for Bingaman (D-DINO)
but there was one guy on the ticket who's as crooked as a yellow dog's hind leg, so I wrote in my cat for that particular local office.

The worst DINO (Lieberman) is still better than the best pubbie (Chafee) when you compare voting records side by side.

That isn't to say they should be retained. It just means that for national office, pubbies have got to go. Maybe in 2008 we can concentrate on eliminating DINOs during the primaries.

I didn't have to take a shower after voting for Bingaman, although I admit I stifled a retch. I might have to shower after voting for Feinstein. I'd have to delouse and disinfect after a vote for Lieberman, Landrieu, either Nelson, or Bayh.

in my book she is as bad as Lieberman... just as bad, only reason she is not puling that stunt is we could NOT remove her in the primaries
