Montana Senate: Tester (D) 50% Burns (R) 46%
November 3, 2006

Montana offers another Senate race where a Republican who had been closing the gap in the final weeks may be falling a bit short. With only a few days left in the election, Republican Senator Conrad Burns now trails Democrat Jon Tester 50% to 46% (see crosstabs). <http://www.rasmussenreports.com/2006/State%20Polls/November%202006/MontanaSenate.htm>

3. Another poll has them tied.
Don't believe these individual polls. They are all over the place.

We've got three days. Work hard and prove them all wrong.

BTW, Tester's gonna win this.

7. The Mason Dixon poll was conducted Oct31st - Nov2.
The same time the ras poll was conducted. Simply put, the Mason Dixon poll could be an outlayer of the MoE.

8. I like Tester
Burns hadn't reached 50 % in any poll I've seen. That's not good news for any incumbent.

10. Tester's been ahead for weeks
If Burns hasn't passed him by now, he's not going to. Short of some unknown scandal, Tester has this one in the bag.
