Change To Win Head Feels "Positive Charge" In Electoral Air

Election Day is coming up fast and there according to the head of the Change to Win Federation, there is a positive charge in the air. Jesse Russell has more:

By Jesse Russell

"Hope, Excitement, and Optimism."

Those are the three things that Anna Burger, head of the Change to Win labor federation, says she hears while touring the country helping to rally the organizations get out the vote campaign. She says members feel a momentum building with Election Day coming up on Tuesday. Not only is the Federation focused on national races, they are working hard to get out the vote for state and local races:

: "The decision that people make at a local level have an impact on the workers right to have a voice as well. And we have seen that state after state."

During a stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Burger outlined some of the things working Americans have told her are important issues in this election:

: "The sense in our country is that people are insecure about their economic position. They are worried about being able to support their families, they are worried about if they can afford healthcare and they are worried about whether or not their kids will be able to look forward to a better life then they will."
