that he supposedly knows John Kerry. He supposedly is friendly with John Kerry. Fuck you McCain for the following reasons:

- John McCain knows damn well that John Kerry did not insult the troops.

- John McCain knows damn well that John Kerry did not call our troops "stupid"

- John McCain knows damn well that John Kerry saw the worst of the worst of war.

- John McCain knows damn well that Chimpy's dad got him into the National Guard so he wouldn't have to go to war.

- John McCain knows damn well that while he was getting the bamboo manicure, Chimpy was boozing it up in Floribama like a frat packer.

- John McCain knows damn well that Chimpy used racism and bigotry to beat him in South Carolina.

- John McCain knows damn well that when the country needed him, Dick Cheney managed 5 separate deferments.

- John McCain know damn well, that if his life depended on it, and he only could call on either John Kerry or George W Bush for help...HE'D CALL JOHN KERRY WITHOUT A SECOND OF HESITATION.

2. It is a shame McCain has gone so low as to question kerry's integrety.

This from a fellow veteran. Obviously, his own swift boating by Bush, really didn't matter to him. He can so easily turn around and denigrate Kerry. McCain had more scruples in 04 than he does now. Keeping this lie alive on Fox when he knows it is false. I think he may be doing this for two reasons, the republican party and because he doesn't want to run against him in 08. A debate or two and a comparison of the two and it is easy to see who would be more apealing.

12. McCain finally got corrupted by the system

He knows that in order to compete for the 2008 nomination, he'll need to leave his maverick costume at the door and tow the party line. There might have been a time when McCain would have come to a fellow combat veteran's defense, but not any more as he paints Kerry with the same "Hanoi John" brush wielded by the likes of Hannity and O'Reilly. He even misrepresented Kerry's early 70's Vietnam-related remarks before a Congressional hearing. Deep down I wonder what McCain was really thinking when Chickenhawks Gingrich and Hannity pontificated about the heroic sacrifices made by veterans, as if Kerry would not fall into that very category? Those two certainly didn't want to experience any military heroism when they had a chance. The hypocrisy and blatant exploitation of reality on the part of these people sickens me.
