Win/Win
Hoping that the Democrats will prevail as majority in both Houses. BUT, if we only take the House and the investigations reveal all the evil and corruption of the Bush Administration, then it could be the best thing for the country if the Republican-led Senate is forced to either do its job (impeachment or whatever) or look like what they are--lap dogs of Bush.

I have always maintained that the Republicans should be forced to do the dirty work to clean up their own mess. If public pressure is big enough that the Republican Senators know they will lose their own seat if they don't step up to the plate, they will do what it takes for their own personal survival--and the long-term survival of their party.

1. The Senate does not impeach.
Only the House does that. The Senate can only try the impeached.
