The writing is on the wall. The once dignified nation has corrupted from within. The brilliant beacon of a republic that brought the oppressed and starving to its shores has turned dim. Every nation on the planet in one way or another has respected America. The very name America use to mean something. As immigrants arrived in Ellis Island they saw that elegant lady with the torch inviting all to her shores. America was the “can do” country. We can only blame the demise of this country on ourselves. We have become decadent, lazy and as we have changed our republic has changed.
