Bring back the Keane Brothers!, May 15, 2005
Reviewer: Sherry Mason "Sherry Mason" (Scotland UK) - See all my reviews

This talented duo of the 70's were absolutely amazing, their music / songs should still be heard today. After all, if they can bring back all Tony Christie's songs.. then why not The Kean Brother's! Either the original recordings or them singing the same songs as adults now would be a fantastic treat! (and that isn't just because my name is Sherry, either :)
Although it was my favorite song..

This is by far one of the most underated albums of the late 70's! great production and top notch musicianship these
"Talented" brothers Tom & John Keane were the real deal!and the pop groups of today could learn a lot from them in this day of cookie cutter bands, It's as fresh now as it was then. I mainly fancy 70's glam bands and hard rock metal but found this recording to be truely a work of "Art"....

A Blast from MY Past....., February 28, 2005
Reviewer: Jenn "Jenn" - See all my reviews
I LOVED this album when I was a kid....actually I was madly in love with John Keane and actually had the pleasure of meeting him at one of their concerts at a dinner theater in the 70's. John & I were the same age and I was a huge fan of the Keane Bros show. I wore out, and I mean, wore out, 2 copies of this album growing up and sadly the 3rd copy and last that I had was destroyed in a flood a year ago....God Loves Little Girls was the one that set my heart fluttering.....I am going to buy it again on CD and will probably wear out yet another copy of it. It brings back my childhood memories and dreams!!!

The Keane Brothers - All Time Virtuoso Musicians, January 23, 2004
Reviewer: Jackie "bestdealsforyou" (Orlando, FL United States) - See all my reviews
In the late 70's, I was mesmerized by this talented duo of barely 11 and 12 years of age. Both played instruments with as much dimension and skill as the older, more experienced musicians of the times. Tom played piano, bass, drums, vibraphones, and keyboard. John played drums, piano and guitar. These two virtuoso musicians (and terrific singers)offer a melodic treat of innocense in this album.

As many predicted back in the 70's... the Keanes made a huge imprint in the music industry. Today, Tom Keane is a recording producer specializing in Diversified music including hip hop, R&B, Rap. During the 80's - 90's Tom composed for artists like Celine Dion, Julio Iglesias, Chaka Khan (Through the fire, Chicago (Will you Still Love me, Barbara Streissand, Julio Iglesias, Jermaine Jackson, Al Jerreau and more. John Keane, after many years working as session drummer for groups such as Chicago, and producing original TV and Film music scores... is today the Music Composer for CSI (Crime Scene Investigation).

Both Keanes are much acclaimed music producers in the entertainment industry today.

Puts Today's Boy Bands To Shame, November 11, 2001
Reviewer: Mark Baron (Bourbonnais, IL United States) - See all my reviews
After wearing out the album years ago, I was glad to be able to get this on CD. More like Hanson than Backstreet Boys or N'Sync, the Keanes write their own music, play instruments, and have absolutely fantastic harmonies. These two guys have talent. I've played the CD for several people from the mid-teens to early -twenties who have never previously heard of the Keane Brothers, and they liked the CD. Buy it!

A music lover of mid-70's pop, June 3, 2001
Reviewer: A music fan
I can still remember watching the "Keane Brothers" television special in August of 1977. If my memory is correct, it ran for 4 straight weeks. It was a great family show and the "Keane Brothers" really showed their talent. Tom Keane was excellent on piano and vocals and his younger brother John Keane was also excellent on drums and also vocals. The one song that really sticks in my mind is "I Wanna Get Back On The Floor And Boogie". The song is full of energy and has a great beat, not to mention the lyrics. The two brothers together have a dynamic vocal range.....not to mention perfect harmonanies. Since I have purchased this CD, I have listened to it numerous times. It reminds me of my teenage years when music was fun and innocent. I once heard that the CD was out of print, but thanks to Amazon.Com, I have been able to locate it.

Anyone who likes Hanson, Arron Carter , or perhaps Billy Gilman would truly enjoy this CD.
