Fresh from (first of two) GOTV drives today - report

I went to one of MoveOn's final push events today. We called people in Ohio who appear to vote only occasionally and stumped for Sherrod Brown. The Good News: Our hostess said that so many people around the country were taking part in the campaign that they didn't have nearly as many sheets of numbers for us to call as they originally planned. Woo Hoo. Most people who I talked to had already voted absentee and I did not talk to a single person who said they had voted for DeWine. Of course, the sample is not random and pretty small so you shouldn't draw any comfort from my results. Now I am off to do more phone banking for the Oregon locals: DeFazio, Kulongoski, etc.
