I'm getting pounded on another thread for those who don't know what I'm talking about. I hope she will be a great speaker if we are put in the majority. Now is not the time for party devisivness as some posters pointed out. I hope she can help unite the country behind Democratic policies like a minimum wage hike, improved health care and a new strategy in Iraq. What I'm trying to say is, I will give her a chance before I get down on her and I hope eveyone else in the country will too.

9. One thing that disturbs me here on DU

I can't tell you how many times I have seen posters here getting "attacked" by other posters because they are not in total agreement or lockstep. And then they start with the name calling. It's really pitiful. I've started a few threads on this subject alone.

Bottom line -- WE are the party of free speech - yet when we express our free speech on this board, all of a sudden our right to free speech has flown out the window. It must look like a mess from the outside looking in. Why can't we realize that we are all on the same side, yet the path we take may be different, we still wish for the same outcome - to take our country back! For crying out loud!!

The attacking was the LAST thing I expected when I joined this board. But, thankfully, not all the posters here are like that. Some actually "get it."
