Bush is running like there are bloodhounds on his trail...

He reminds me of those characters in "O' Brother, Where Art Thou?" He's running like a terrorist is after him. You can see the fear in his eye. For the first time in his Presidency, he may suffer a devastating defeat, although he is not even on the ballot.

However, no matter who wins, he has already indicated his intentions. He plans on keeping Rumsfeld and Cheney, he said. I thought Cheney was the VP and I didn't know Bush could hire or fire him at will? Also, he let it be known that he plans on staying the course, no matter who wins this Tuesday. Both he and Cheney have said they will do what they think is right - no matter what the public might think.

So, George W Bush has no intention of changing anything. Not the way he handles the war and not the way he ignores the Constitution he is sworn to uphold. But, he knows it will be much easier if he can keep his rubber-stamp Congress and Senate. We can only hope the Democrats hold him accountable.
