Yet Webb is still in a tight race with Allen.

How many Democrats pounced on Allen for an apology?

Why is he even in the race?

2. Because we don't run the media like the GOP does
Kerry makes a questionable comment that nobody hears, and within hours it's blown into a nationwide "scandal" that goes on for days. Allen makes a racist comment on camera not onece but twice, and the the media eat up his bullshit explanation that he just made up the word on the spur of the moment and it all goes away.

3. You know what kills me?

Allen didn't say "I've never used that word" he said "I don't ever remember saying that." Those are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT statements! "I don't remember" doesn't mean he he's denying it, it means he's saying he doesn't recall doing it. That means that he may well have, and quite frankly, if you were a racist prick in your past you don't forget that kind of thing.

The bastard said he couldn't remember so that if, in the wave of all the people from his past popping up to call him out on being the racist bastard he is, an audio/video tape happened to come out people can't say he lied, but that he just forgot and he apologizes deeply. All of his regret of course being disingenuous BS.

If people in VA actually believe Allen's explanation on the Macaca thing they are the biggest pack of retards on the planet. Yeah... the jag off just made up a word on the spot to insult one of his opponent's campaign workers who just so happened to be a minority, and the word he used just so happened to be a racial slur originating in North Africa, which just so happened to be where Allen's mother was from. All this from the jackass that proudly displayed the rebel flag in his place of business (if your attorney has the stars and bars hanging on the wall in his office the guys a moron, find a new lawyer) complete with a noose.

If allen gets reelected I say that, though the civil war concluded they couldn't do it for themselves, the rest of the country let's them do what they've been wanting to do for ages and allow them to secede from the nation so we don't have to acknowledge their existence.

4. And Allen's chances of a 2008 GOP nomination flew out the window with that.

He had been one of the front-runners. Oh, how I would have loved to see that.
