So, if turnout is 50% (which is high for midterm elections) it means 1,5 to 1,6 million votes total will be casted. With 900,000 people already voted, only 600,000 to 700,000 will vote on election day. And if Ford is corerct, Corker will need to win 60% on election day which is unlikely...

If TN Repubs, especially the racists and bible thumpers, think Ford is ahead, they'll be all the more certain to make sure they vote tomorrow.
On the other hand, those folks don't listen to Imus anyway. Their preachers are probably telling 'em Corker has it in the bag, and that anyone who says otherwise is part of the damned lib'rul media.

4. I agree...does Ford have any idea when to shut up? |
|
not only might it energize his opponents, but it could suppress Dem turnout if they think he's going to win without their vote.

Contrary to what the Repubs say (and corporate media parrots), I have always thought that it was the media calling FL for Gore early that caused Democrats to say, well, he doesn't need my vote afterall.
