LOL- Sen.Macacawitz *hounded* by protestors
There are more of these photos at Yahoo news photos (most e-mailed). Having some computer issues here at work so posting even these took all morning.

BTW-as noted in another caption on Yahoo Allen is seen in this first photo with "his trademark football" :eyes:

Protesters dressed as U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney (L), President George W. Bush (2nd L) and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld follow U.S. Senator George Allen through a parking lot during a tailgate party before an NFL game in Landover, Maryland November 5, 2006. Sen. George Allen, R-Va., left, campaigns, Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, as DeDe Miller, center, sister of anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, walks in front of him with a sign listing the number of military killed in Iraq, as Allen campaigned at the Vienna Metro Stop in Vienna, Va. At right of Miller is Sen. Allen's wife Susan Allen.(AP Photo/Ron Edmonds)

5. -
Actually Susan Allen is pretty well liked here by everyone. Some of that clearly is simpathy  but up until two weeks ago it was hard to tell WHO was running for Senate George or Susan-she was everywhere and in every ad.

7. When they call out sentators for roll call votes...I keep imagining
the following Senator Akaka, Senator Akaka YEAH.
Senator Maccaca (Allen), Senator Maccaca (Allen) NAY.

Sadly the possibility of such days will be dwindle to very few once Jim Webb wins the election tomorrow.
