IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: If you don't want your vote hacked tomorrow!!!
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 03:35 PM by BluegrassDem
Don't vote straight ticket on the electronic machines. Instead, punch each individual Democrat that you want to vote for. I heard that viruses and hackers target STRAIGHT TICKET VOTES.

I know it's easier to just punch the Democratic button and be done with it, but it's more secure if you pick out each individual candidate...or so I heard. This is just a tip.

4. And always check the verification screen AND the VVPAT if present.

Bring a cell, with camera if you have one, and if you have any problems, call them in:

7. Advice
I just want to recommend that all of you who are going to be voting on a voting-machine tomorrow, please bring your video-cell phones with you to record any possible irregularities that might occur.
If your vote switches in front of you on the screen, you’ll be able to prove it.
Since this is my first post on DU, I suggest someone make a thread on this so more people get the word.
Thanks

8. That's an excellent idea about cell phones
I just bought a new cell phone that has a camera and video camera. I've never had much use for it, but if the machines start acting crazy tomorrow, I'll definitely have it recorded on the phone!!

15. Don't understand this logic.

As a computer programmer, I written a hacking program or two in my day, and not sure why would they target straight ticket voters instead of regular voters. If someone already hacked into the internal database why not change the vote there since nobody would notice it. It's easier to change the database numbers than selective sample of voters. Can someone fill me in?
