"We need more troops" - MAJ General Batiste
on Ed Schultz this PM. Says the Army and Marines are at the breaking and cannot react to another flashpoint in the world.

thanks to the brilliant minds at PNAC.

Its time for a republican senator to bring up the draft. Such an act would put the gop into permanent minority status.

2. I agree with you
I'm a veteran and I say start the withdrawal now. But General Batiste is aware of the condition of the Army and the Marine Corps. He knows their capabilities. Its a telling part of bush's legacy.

3. Well, that can't be right
Because President Bush said that if the generals needed more troops, he'd have surely supplied them, and if there are no more troops headed to Iraq, it's because the generals haven't asked for them, because they don't need them, otherwise, they'd have asked for them, but they haven't asked so they must not need.

There, I've run rings around you logically.

4. Well that son of a bitch Batiste must be lying then
Hell you can't trust Army Generals. They have no concern for duty, honor, country. I do appreciate the fact that he passed on another star to get the hell away from rumsfeld and his handler.

5. We don't need more troops.
We will just keep sending the same guys back over and over and over and over.

A discharge means nothing these days. You get out one day and they call you back the next.

And they send you back over and over and over and over.

6. No MORE TROOPS to invade sovereign countries, kill or capture
their leaders and nation build to the will of a pretender president. NO MORE.

We need just enough troops to protect our country. We do not need to be the world's police.

No more deaths for BushLies!
