1. Duckworth - Roskom in Illinois.
a vet who lost both legs in a war, and she is accused of cutting and running. However, it is incredibly nazi like in that part of the state. Women belong in the kitchen, not a helicopter.

2. Duckworth really breaks my heart. How can a person who slurs
her (Dykeworth etc) be allowed to live never mind vote. It's so ironic, that these same despicable people "supported" her when she was in Iraq. Party before country. Disgusting.

3. I was there last week, lots of Duckworth signs.
was there today, saw many more Roskom signs.
There were many people complaining of sign theft. In DuPage county - where nazis are welcome to march. (I am not kidding)

I've been following her campaign. She is a neat lady, smart, educated, and bound to be a success. Roskom is the typical neanderthol that decided Alan Keyes would be a good senator.

4. I said Webb because unfortunately I don't think we're going to
win Arizona or Tennessee.

5. Jack Carter in Nevada
Ok, that's a long shot that we probably won't win. But...if there's a national landslide and Carter has a good GOTV operation, then it can happen. That would be the biggest surprise and a wonderful win.

7. Other: Lamont over Lieberman
Ok, I can dream, can't I?

Honestly tho... Joe's hopes are for the most part based on Republican votes. In a year when so many many Repubs are sitting home, it's sort of hard to see them turning out for Lieberman.

11. I picked Webb
I just feel, in my gut, that we have a good shot of taking that seat, and it will be an upset when you consider that until just a couple months ago no one really saw Allen losing his seat and he was being plugged as a future Presidential candidate. If we do take it, though, I think it will be quite close, and could take until late into the night to find out.

12. Biggest *surprise*?
News reports come in from the east coast of a Democratic sweep before the polls close in the west. Repugs get very demoralized and stay home. Ashdown (D) wins in Utah.

That would be the biggest surprise. :bounce: Hey, we can always hope can't we?
