3. Already asked Skinner to put it up as a banner. I think they will have
Dems at each polling place..waiting for emergency calls or something. Otherwise how could they promise to be there in a few minutes.

GREAT ORGANIZATION! WAY TO GO DEMS!!!

5. More numbers
Election incidents can also be reported to several national hotlines.

Those reported to 1-866-OUR-VOTE will be catalogued in the Election Incident Reporting System (check out the incident map, which already reflects several incidents across the nation).

Problems with voting machines can also be reported by calling 1-888-SAV-VOTE (1-888-728-8683).

Several sites will serve as clearinghouses for election issues tomorrow.

ProtectOurVotes.org is already on the robocall story.

Video The Vote and Veek the Vote are camera-ready.

http://veekthevote.com/

If you have a website, you can add a "Tell Your Voting Story" widget, a tool that makes reporting election shenanigans a snap.

7. Touchscreens - Be sure you CONFIRM your vote
Edited on Mon Nov-06-06 09:40 PM by sarahlee
Get word to poll volunteers and candidates that they remind Voters that at the end of the process there is a confirmation screen and they need to CONFIRM THEIR VOTES.

Post it on your blog, email your friends and Democratic volunteers.

10. And use a coin or pen to tap the circle
The last time I voted it wasn't marking my ballot because the touch screen required a substantial tap on the circle. I complained that the machine was defective and the election worker simply offered to give me a pencil to tap it with.

16. Republicans are to use a hammer instead of a coin or pen.
Tell them it is to make sure their vote doesn't change after they accept the results.

15. If you have a cell phone use it.
If you have picture capability use it.

Have the number of your local Democratic Party handy. Probably have an easier time connecting with them then with the Election Board for any complaints.

Call the media and tell them you are at the poll site and have a problem. I wonder if anyone playing pranks with the voting machines want the media to be there.

If you have any problem voting...
If you have time ask people as they leave the building if they had any problems voting and what the problems they encountered. If they are willing get their name and number so they can file a complaint.
