Gergen thinks Dems might take the Senate
GERGEN: The Democrats definitely take the House - I think somewhere above 20. I thought until recently that they would not take the Senate. I am moving now more - especially after hearing that surprise report tonight on your show about Virginia, about Allen only having 250 people there for his final rally - there's this drooping quality to his campaign - I think for the first time the Democrats have a really fighting chance to take the Senate, too.

3. But Gergen Worked For Clinton Too...
I guess it was a political philosophy that he was used to.

9. Gergen has always fascinated me...
because he doesn't always say what you want to hear, and he isn't *always* right, but he usually is. And he's very thoughtful every time I see him.

10. I think Gergen tries to be honest
Of course, he has a more conservative bent than what we like at DU, but I do listen to him when he talks. He tries to be honest and thoughtful in his assessments when being an analyst. He's not a partisan hack at all.
