I voted at 7:04 AM today....(Volusia County)
...the place was packed. The lines moved smoothly. We had a choice between paper ballots, which were then inserted into a scan machine, and a single DEEBOLD POS. Nobody, when I was there, used the DEEBOLD POS and the sound of felt pens marking ballots was music to my ears.

Let freedom ring.

1. Most if not all the Republican counties have the scan-trons.
So much for the Supreme Court's decision that there must be a uniform method of voting in Florida.

2. Sweet.
Of course, an honest count in Volusia would probably be a sign of the apocalypse........but that could be a good thing.

3. awesome. same here (no one using the TSS machine)
my dad - who also lives in Volusia County - just told me he is going to vote all Dem for the first time in his life (he also said he might puke when he pulls the lever, but hey, freedom isn't free, right?).

Awesome.
