Wall Street, obviously, is not running for cover with the predictions |

by everyone, of a Democratic victory.
Dow Jones was up more than 100 points yesterday and is already up more than 70.
So much for only Republicans are good for business and investors.

I am on a trading desk right now....Most are common sense types that keep politics to themselves. I never disucss politics because it is generally a bad idea - I would hate to have a bad relationship with someone I work with based on politics - bad for business. Off the desk though, the gloves come off.
Common sense says that b*sh is a fuckup destroying the economy of our country. Some Wall St people still like the thugs for tax reasons, but there will always be those types in any camp. Most WS people are well educated which works against the thugs. Nealry all WS people are cynical - which works against the thugs.

Yes, tax is one issue but the increasing deficit - which makes us beholding to foreign investors - and the sinkhole in Iraq should cause every fiscal conservative to want to trade horses.
