HOLY CRAP, MY DAD JUST WENT TO VOTE! |
|
My dad hasn't voted in an election in over 20 years. He just left with my mom to go vote. Holy Cow, if HE'S going to vote, and vote Dem, we're going to win in a landslide!
A couple of days ago I wrote here that it would be easier to get him to his own execution than a voting booth. Well, looks like the execution will have to wait!
:bounce:
I'm so happy!

3. That's great news! Is he still registered? |
|
(In my state, if you don't vote for a certain period of time, you have to register again. I hope that this isn't the case in your state.)

my dad is voting Dem in Florida. He hates politicians and is not fond of the Dems at all, so I take that as a good sign.

Maybe it'll really happen. I'm cautiously optimistic--which aside from outrage, horror and despair is the default emotional setting for Democrats these days.

|
I hate to sound like the voice of doom or gloom but some people who have not voted in a few years have had their names erased from the voting roles. I hope he can vote!

Really, waking up is good.
I admit that I didn't know what a midterm election was, before 2000. And that is why we are where we are. We slept.

I hope Millions of others will do the same. This is the kind of thing that can drive the pollsters crazy.
I suspect there will be a big young voter wave as well.
Sandbag the GOP.
