2. Did you get photos?
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 01:39 PM by slackmaster
The machine worked perfectly for me, as far as I could see.

Please give more details. What did you do about it?

ETA - We must get photographic evidence, otherwise reports like this are too easy to write off as user error.

7. Once The Machinez Record The Vote Wrong, It's Stolen and That's It
It's too late to do anything about it at that point except scream.

9. What kind of system are you referring to????
The machine I used this morning gave plenty of opportunities to review and revise the votes, including rejecting the whole thing and starting over.

According to the poll worker I spoke with, the vote is not recorded until the voter has verified and accepted the paper printout, which goes into a sealed can.

:grr:

Pass this # around...1-866-OURVOTE. Howard Dean said to call it if you experience any problems. He also asked for people to NOT LEAVE THE POLLING PLACE.

It is pretty easy to come on here, start a thread saying this and this happened just to get everyone riled up. You are right though, the machines must GO. I voted on a paper ballot this am, no problems.

12. Voting Machines Default To Repub...
Kind of like when you go to a website, and if you hit Enter, it automatically goes to a particular link.

On voting machines, it automatically gives the vote to the repub, since this is a repub Dictatorship, and your vote is assuming to be for the RULING party.
