This is what we have to deal with. Unbelievable! And I don't think this is being said to drive up turnout!

2. F*ck him!
I saw his picture in the local (DE) paper today and almost puked. The smarmy little bastard.

5. It's being said for ratings.
If the race is said to be close, people will watch and see how it goes. If it's a foregone conclusion, they'll go to bed early.

9. Perhaps, but is also set up a perfect premise for Rove and his thugs to steal another election.

6. I don't think Brian Williams is a corporate toady
I don't watch much national news anymore (I do think that the GE-sponsored news is a joke) but I think Brian Williams has been okay. He chooses stories that are not usually friendly to the current administration.

7. He is no doubt the best prime time anchor
and he did right and continues to do right by New Orleans after Katrina. Brian ain't no toady.

8. They are all compromised and pretty pathetic excuses for bringing the truth to the American people.
If Brian Williams has been good on Katrina, good for him--but it is not enough.

We need truthtellers, and these corporate talking heads do not serve us well.
