When I voted at 9:30 am, about 500 votes had already been recorded. A pollworker told me that they normally had about 50 votes by that time of morning, and only hit 500 at about 4 or 5 in the afternoon. There was a MUCH larger crowd than I remember from previous midterms, but everything was running smoothly & we were in & out in 10 minutes. We use optically scanned paper ballots.
