If you have any trouble at the polls, STAY WHERE YOU ARE and call 1 888 DEM VOTE.
You can also report election incidents to several national hotlines:
Those reported to 1-866-OUR-VOTE will be catalogued in the Election Incident Reporting System (EIRS); check out the incident map, which already reflects several incidents across the nation.
Report problems with voting machines by calling 1-888-SAV-VOTE (1-888-728-8683).
Several sites will serve as clearinghouses for election issues today:
ProtectOurVotes.org is already on the robocall story.
Take your camera or cell phone with photo/video capability: Video The Vote and Veek the Vote are camera-ready.
Record The Vote: If anything unusual happens, upload it to YouTube, and tag it "recordthevote2006."
If you take photos, upload them to Flickr with the same tag.
If you have a website, you can add a "Tell Your Voting Story" widget, a tool that makes reporting election shenanigans a snap.
Touchscreens: Get word to poll volunteers and candidates to remind voters that at the end of the process there is a confirmation screen and they need to CONFIRM THEIR VOTES.
Post this information on your blog. Email your friends and Democratic volunteers.
