Denver Election Commission Needs More Volunteers
by: Colorado Pols
Tue Nov 07, 2006 at 13:56:17 PM MST

The geniuses at the Denver Election Commission (DEC) didn't get enough election judges, and lines in many polling places are loonnnnggg.

The DEC needs 100 volunteers to go to 303 W. Colfax, 1st floor, as soon as possible but no later than 5:00 p.m. Ask for Katheryn Archuletta and say that you are there to be an election judge. You will be trained and assigned to a vote center.

If you can volunteer, please do. This isn't a partisan issue - it's about making sure people are able to vote.

1. Lots of New Neighbors in Colorado this year
Colorado has been strangled by Rethugs for years.
Of course THEY don't want to man the polls TODAY of all days!
And the Dems in the region are mostly newcomers.

A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DENVER TO LIVE because they think
the Aerospace Jobs went there.. they've disappeared from a lot of
cities where Democratic candidates win.

part of the Rethug strategy at the White House is to remove jobs from
Democratic districts to bankrupt the base so we can't field candidates..
to make people so desperate to pay their bills they can't pay attention to politics, they're too exhausted from working too hard and stressed over being broke.

The other part is to reward Rethugican districts with good jobs, even if that means moving whole fighter wings to the Inland Empire (California) to provide jobs for rethuglican base. The people who work in Aerospace are told ON THE JOB THAT IF THEY DON'T DONATE TO THE RNC PAC THEIR CAREERS WILL BE OVER AT THE COMPANY. THEY WILL WITHER ON THE VINE AWAITING THE LAYOFF CYCLES.... WHERE THEY JETTISON DEMOCRATS FROM THEIR RANKS.

The incoming dems to Colorado are NEW NEIGHBORS and don't yet know their way around the town. They may not think to work the election their first month or two in town. I personally know 6 families who have moved there from Los Angeles this last year.

I know this because I am the lady who used to hold Democratic Ladies Club in the BATHROOM AT TRW because it was the only place we could meet without cameras and audio recordings...

They record everything and thwart what our plans are.

This is a hell of a story... Welcome to the USSR.
