NYS still has one of the most accurate ways of voting, mechanical machines.
i voted a straight democratic ticket, although mostly for them on 3rd party lines (Working families)
my local assemblyman and state senator were running unopposed.

2. Three votes from my house |
|
and my hubby got someone to vote that has never voted in his life - and he's in his late 30's with two kids.
Hubby's out watching the poll watchers - Those Republican's are really cheeky this year. One asked a poll worker to write down the names of the voters while he went to the bathroom - and she would have done it had my husband not stepped in to say no. At another place some duffous was walking around the poll wearing an outfit and sporting a sign that said 'Vote Republican" At yet another poll the Rethuglicans gave up and left.
