5. Polls don't close until 8.
Everything I have heard the last couple of days is that Joe's gonna win. I hope he doesn't, because I'm not convinced he'll vote for a Democrat leader. He could conceivably have veto power over our choice for leader.

6. Its on MSNBC now
and the firefighters are all supporting Joe because he stands up for their issues...uck....it makes me think of all the times my husbands union tried to tell us how to vote...if we thought it was wrong we voted what we wanted...thats all we can hope for.

8. I saw the firefighters union President on tv too.
They were huge and loyal Kerry supporters during the 2004 election. I can see why they would be so loyal to Joe that they would still support him.
