Just finished the Zogby post election poll online |
|
It was VERY messed up. I've never had problems taking the Zogby poll before. Tonight it was incredibly slow to load, page after page. Somewhere mid-poll it got the idea I was Catholic. It hadn't asked any religious questions previously (nor have I ever told them I'm Catholic). Suddenly it started asking me a million questions about how often I attend mass, what I want the church leaders to speak out on, and my opinions on abortion. Some of the questions were even prefaced with, "Speaking as a Catholic, what do you think..."
Has anyone else had these problems with the Zogby poll tonight? I'm afraid I'll have to question their results on this one.

1. My voting issues: DEMOCRATS |
|
They wanted me to pick one issue. I picked other. I voted for the DEMOCRAT. They could have had a Republican saint on my ticket and the devil running as the Democrat and I would have voted for the Democrat. And I told them so.
The Catholic one was confusing until I got to the line: I am not a Catholic. I clicked that one..

4. I agree with you on that |
|
I kept checking "other" and filling in my reason: protecting the constitution. I had a hard time with the question, if a Gay or Lesbian was running and you agreed with them on most issues, would you vote for them? The truth is, it depends entirely on whether they are Democratic or Republican and has nothing to do with them being gay or lesbian. Of course, if a gay or lesbian agrees with me on most issues, they are almost certainly a Democrat, but still...

3. Polling Point asks religious questions too |
|
I think they are trying to figure out how much power they have in elections.

5. Sure, but don't they ask your religion first? |
|
It makes sense to find this out, but it makes no sense to assume I am Catholic based on ... nothing.
