Californians, 3 1/2 hours left to go vote for DEBRA BOWEN for Sec of State!

Arguably the most important race in the country--to unseat Schwarzenegger appointee Bruce McDiebold (...ahem, Bruce McPherson). BOWEN is a lifelong advocate of open government and transparent elections, and had a distinguished career in the California Senate.

The Secretary of State runs our elections, and also has influence on election integrity issues across the nation. With the cancerous spread of electronic voting systems, run on TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY programming code, owned and controlled by Bushite corporations, there is no more important office than Secretary of State--to ride herd on these corporations, to fight for the integrity of our elections, and to act in the PUBLIC interest. Bruce McPherson has surrounded himself with electronic voting industry advisers. He is a Diebold shill. He illegally re-certified Diebold touchscreen voting machines, and has failed in every way to separate the public interest in fair and open elections from the corporate interest in the billions of dollars in e-voting contracts. DEBRA BOWEN is his exact opposite. If we don't want to see this "blue" state artificially turned into a "red" state, against the will of the people, we MUST elect DEBRA BOWEN as Secretary of State.

If you are at all hesitating to vote, disappointed in other candidates, or you know someone else who hasn't voted, please go vote NOW for DEBRA BOWEN and get others to do so! It may be the most important vote you ever cast! She was running AHEAD in recent polls, but has the handicap of Angelides, who hasn't been polling well, and of course the handicap of the machines themselves and the election theft capability that is hidden within them. She needs a big turnout to overcome these handicaps.

McPherson has a good rep as an environmentally oriented Republican. Saw him at a conference and he makes a good impression. With Arnalt reinventing himself and trying to look Dem Lite and Greenish, the Indie or R-Lite voters who value enviro issues may lean toward McPh.

BIG MISTAKE!!!!!

We voted on paper, filled in bubbles, two sided ballots that slipped into scanners and disappeared. Monitor says it scans both sides at once. "Don't ask me how" she laughs. Yeah, I think, voting is an act of faith in more ways than one, at this point.

BOWEN MUST WIN.
