Exit polls: I thought the networks weren't going to announce results until
after all states' polls closed. Maybe that just applied to presidential elections? But it really should apply to all senate and house races because if it looks like one party is going to take more seats, based on East (right) coast results, it could affect who goes out to vote on the West (left) coast.

1. There are no national elections tonight, only state.
We in CA are not going to be affected by Maine projections or exit polls.

2. That's not true. If it looks like the senate/house may go to the Dems baseds
on East coast elections, that may motivate Repugs on the west coast to go out and vote.
