Gov. Granholm projected winner in Michigan!
:woohoo:

Projection: Jennifer Granholm re-elected

Updated: Nov 7, 2006 08:07 PM EST

Govenor Jennifer Granholm

DETROIT - WOOD TV8 and our media partner EPIC-MRA project that Jennifer Granholm was re-elected Governor of Michigan, defeating the Republican nominee Dick DeVos.

Additionally we project that Debbie Stabenow has been re-elected to the US Senate, Terri Lynn Land has been re-elected as Secretary of State and Mike Cox as Attorney General.

Two of the five statewide proposals have been defeated. Proposal 3 to allow dove hunting and Proposal 5 to provide mandatory funding levels for education have been voted down.

24 Hour News 8 is at the Renaissance Center in Detroit and will have more reaction and further details as they become available.

4. Just checked our local ABC News Station....
They've claimed victory for both Gov Granholm and Sen Debbie Stabenow!
I've been up all day. Think I can relax now! Must say, I was a bit worried about DeVos. I have renewed faith in my state now....
