Are that many Floridians that stupid?
Wait, I know the answer to that -- I was exiled in Jacksonville for two years.

How the hell did cruella get so many damn votes? Yeah, she lost... but how the hell are that many people that crazy!

18. I REALLY wanted Davis to win. He is for stem cells research and you
know what is going on with our house insurance (mine tripled). He was also committed to getting rid of the FCats which I think are just horrible.

I think it was a matter of money also. And probably some twisted voting machines. Remember Jebie gave it to his brother twice and he is a fan of Crist.

13. It's the assholes who moved here
Like many of my neighbors - whitebread repukes who keep 2nd homes here and claim homestead.
They couldn't care less about the state or who's running but they keep on voting repuke all the way.
They've screwed the state.

22. S*T*O*L*E*N
I couldn't agree more. I think the Harris results do what's called a "tell" for all of us.

She is a NUTSO candidate. And part of me believes it was stolen enough to tilt the Gov. race and show some odd results for a crazy Harris who has had a TON gaffes and staff emp. who despise her, so this looks fishy, but we can't negate the fact that this state is sun-baked in the brain somehow... I can't believe how right wing they are here. It's also noticeable to me in public and at work, that their is a STRONGER anti-GAY bias here than other states, perhaps because there's so many of us here. I appear "straight" and I'm very Christian so people don't assume often at all I'm gay, and the taunts about gays and hate speech is amazing --- which will make Crist's eventual outing bittersweet, he'll be shown a hypocrite, but he'll also make gay rights get set back another decade!

GIVE MY PROPS TO YOUR HUSBAND!! High five... I've voted Repub before when I felt it necessary, for the next 5-10 years I hope he considers keeping doing it because the Repubs ignore the generals in the military, and they spent us into bankruptcy, it's gonna take time.

Repugs took over the legislature and gamed the system. Campaign finance laws here are almost non-existant and all our districts are severely gerrymandered. The average sheep voter only pays attention around election time unlike us political junkies. We've also had a weak state parties for years with a lot of old southern Dixiecrats running the show. However, I'm hopeful. Karen Thurman seems a better state chair than Poe or Maddox (couldn't do much worse). If Florida Dems can somehow stop shooting each other and take aim at the Republicans, we might start to make more gains again.

23. Davis tried...
but yea, there wasn't visibility by him, and he was too quiet in general, even more quiet in his speaking voice than Nelson.

Why was he so "kind" with Crist... really, not good that way. He deserved to win, not Crist and his stay the course, support the ins. industry, bullshit!

21. Jesus. Pick on Utah or somewhere for a change.
we picked up a couple of house seats, Alex Sink will win and Harris was crushed. Of course, Democrats should have won everything convincingly, but there are a lot of states where we didn't.

24. Looks like we will not take Harris's old seat
Looks like Buchanan will narrowly defeat Christine Jennings.

Yeah, we'll take that seat...NOT(sigh)

But it does look like FL will be sending Ron Klein and Tim Mahoney to Congress.
