So does this mean Lieberman is going to go back to playing a Dem?
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 09:22 PM by Cascadian
I wonder how he is going to now vote in the Senate and if he intends to punish the voters of Connecticut for rejecting him in the primaries? All I know is Lieberman is just a slimeball. I also hope he is not ever invited to their annual Jefferson Jackson Bailey Dinner.

All I know is the Republicans voted for Lieberman and now he owes them big time. I expect him to vote more on the righty side from now on.

4. Apparently, if you lose in the primaries
...all you have to do is run and be elected as an independent, and then go back to voting with your party. Is this a new primary system?

6. Lieberman is a power hungry scumbag.
Not only that, a poor sport. He had to have his way and he got it. I am more disappointed with the voters in Ct.

5. No - he knows who voted for him. You can't count on him to vote when it
counts. He now has no need to even PRETEND he's loyal to the Dems. God I hate him.

7. Lieberman will go back to doing
whatever suits him at the moment, just as he has always done. Whatever he feels will help him personally.
