2. If this is what we get, a tie, I'll still be ecstatic. We have the house.
We have the governorships. We are now THE force to contend with.

Man, this just feels soooooooooooooooo gooooooooooood!

3. No, it's not.
They're simply discussing what would happen if it were tied. There are still 4 races yet to decide.

8. No, then it would be 52 to 48.
Though exit polls suggest that we will win MT and MO, VA and TN questonable--in that case, it could be tied.

15. I don't think kc or stl have been counted yet. Remember,
Edited on Tue Nov-07-06 10:43 PM by KCdemocrat
rural counties get counted first.

5. Notice also that they took away the 1 Independent seat that they
had called. Does this mean that they are retracting in the Lieberman race?

12. Forgive my ignorance.. but isn't Bernie Sanders an Independent?
And didn't NPR project him as a winner in his Senate race? And listening to him, he was much more liberal than any Independent you'd ever hear. So if the Senate was "tied" wouldn't Sanders not be counted as a Dem? and yet still have vehemently liberal leanings?

Or am I completely lost...
